Major Recruitment are searching for a Panel Wireman for our client based in Gateshead. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
Constructing and connecting control panels, cabinets, and sub-components.
Performing assembly and wiring tasks.
Identifying and labeling devices accordingly.
Fabricating multiple bay enclosures.
Adhering to panel layout, schematic diagrams, and interpreting engineering drawings.
Connecting electrical devices while managing cables and terminations.
Utilizing crimping, looming, and cable marking techniques.
Installing control panel back-plates with components and trunking.
Proficient in the application of both hand and power tools.Hours of work and pay rate:
Monday to Thursday
Day shift
£15.89 per hour, 37 hour week
Time and a third Friday, time and a half Saturday
Overtime available as and when business needs requireSuccessful candidates must:
Have a City and Guilds or equivalent Level 3 Electrical qualification
Have previous experience in a similar role
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
