Support Worker

As Support Worker you will be working with one the clients following an acquired brain injury that he sustained in a car accident a number of years ago. Your responsibilities will include:

Working on shift supporting with personal care, daily living activities,  social and leisure activities and rehabilitation activities.

I’m passionate about football and support Newcastle United but I won’t be offended if you don’t. I am moving into my own home soon so will need guidance and support to help me with this transition. 

We are keen to speak to people about this Leader opportunity who have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience of working in the Health Sector.  
Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree. course)Driving licence and car owner is essential.
This is a part time position with afternoons, evenings, sleeps, weekend shifts, annual leave/sickness cover available. 

In return you will receive a pay rate of £14.00 per hour, Additional Holidays accruing with service, Company pension, health cover and employee rewards, Full supervision including regular formal meeting opportunities. Training & Development- Acquired Brain Injury / Medication / Mental Capacity & Safeguarding / Moving and Handling / Postural Management / First Aid.
