Head of Department

MRG are delighted to be working with a Technical College to recruit their Head of Department in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. (Relocation supported)

Candidates should have the knowledge, skills, as well as the proven experience, qualifications & abilities that cover, but are not limited to, the following:

Head of Department Qualifications:
1- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree; or a Master of Engineering (ME) is preferred. Specialization shall be in one or more of the subjects trained at institute. Post Graduate Certificate in education or school administration is desirable as the International Diploma for Vocational training.
2- Understanding and experience of City & Guilds plus College Of Excellence is a requirement.
3- Twelve (12) years of teaching and administrative experience,
a. at least four (4) of which should be as an administrator of school/training institution as that of a Saudi Aramco Industrial Training Centre (ITC), or a similar industrial institution.
b. 6 years industrial experience in a vocational subject. Preferably time served.
c. Experience in teaching vocational training.
4- Excellent command of oral and written English. The successful candidate should be computer competent with knowledge and experience in technological instructional delivery, blended learning, and learner-centered approach.
