A dynamic and inclusive secondary school located in the heart of Stockport are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2024. This part time role involves working 28 hours per week during term time (Monday to Friday) providing 1-2-1 support to pupils with learning difficulities. Your primary responsibilies will include:
Assisting pupils with their daily learning tasks
Tailoring support to meet individual learning needs
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborating with teachers and other staff to support pupil developmentThe ideal candidate will:
Have a kind, patient, and empathetic manner
Possess experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
Have experience supporting students with SEND
Be passionate about education and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential
Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
