A fantastic opportunity to work for a successful local business based close to Ely. This is a varied role and our client is offering a competitive salary and rewards package. We are looking for a friendly, approachable team player with proven relevant experience working in a busy accountancy role.
Duties will include:
* Setting up sales on the internal system
* Entering client details and checking their VAT status
* Invoicing
* Taking payments for invoices
* Chasing unpaid invoices
* Dealing with VAT queries
* Producing financial statements
* Dealing with general queries, face to face, telephone and email
* General administration duties
Experience/skills required:
* Proven experience in an accounting role
* Able to deal with a varied workload
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent customer service skills
* Team player
* Strong IT skills including working knowledge of word and excel
Hours of work:
Ideally 08.00 - 17.00 with some flexibility on hours, you will be required to work 1 Sunday per month of which you will be entitled to time off in lieu.
