Project Manager – New Build Housing

£72,000 - £80,000 + package

The Company:

A 5* Housing Developer is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Manager or Project Manager who is ready to take the next step; working on new build Private & H/A Housing Schemes of various build types and sizes.

Senior Manager Role:

The Senior Manager will manage all site resources including 2 Managers, labour, plant and materials as well as on-site health and safety and client customer service. You will be responsible for all on site production from site set up through to completion, sub-contract weekly / monthly meetings and managing programmes. Whilst being able to drive the subcontractors and be responsible for Quality and programme. You must be capable of managing all aspects of the production works, be dynamic and eager to drive projects forward whilst being proactive and not reactive.

The Senior Manager will also be responsible for identifying overspend and highlighting potential savings. Communication is key, and you will need to liaise with other teams within the company to update them on the progress of the project.

To be considered for this position you will need to have a background working for a private developer or a residential contractor (working on HA schemes). It is important that you have a broad understanding of all trades and have a thorough knowledge of the construction process. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills, work well within a team and be computer literate.
