Trainee Office Manager

Our local well-respected client is looking to recruit a Trainee Office Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks, client billing, bookkeeping and accounts receivable collection. Training and personal development/progression will be available as the role/duties develops over time.

Our client is a local business based in Kinloss Moray, employing 35+ people and have contracts/projects around the whole the North of Scotland.

Duties
- Manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness
- Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Maintain office records and ensure proper filing systems are in place
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Maintain Vehicle Fleet schedules, Insurance, RFL, Registrations.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures
- Compiling Work/Job sheets and project valuations for the Invoicing to clients
- Processing of purchase invoices onto the accounts software (Sage)
- Chasing via email/phone of overdue invoices
- Some client meetings on site may be necessary

Experience:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels
- Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial but full training will be provided
- Proficient in clerical tasks and organizational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
