Based in Oxfordshire

Working Hours: 5 days per week, between 8.30am – 4.30pm

Holidays: 25 days per calendar year (3 of which are to be used at Christmas)
Plus all public holidays (pro rata).

Our Client:

A family-owned business which based in Bicester, they manufacture and supply a range of prepared microbiological media to the pharmaceutical and associated industries alongside supplying and servicing specialist environmental air monitoring and decontamination equipment, primarily into the same markets.

The role:

Working in a small team, the role is responsible for the routine service and calibration of customer’s air sampling equipment, mainly within the site workshop with occasional visits to customer sites in the UK and EU.
This position will also support the Plant and Maintenance Engineer in maintaining, repairing, and attending breakdowns of the company’s own manufacturing equipment and facilities including within a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities:

· The engineering team has responsibility for building and assembling the company’s own equipment for sale.
· Ensure all work involving service and calibration of customer’s equipment and maintaining company’s own manufacturing equipment and facilities on site is first time complete.
· Liaising with customers, including quoting for repairs and calibrations.
· Checking & verifying other engineers service/calibration documents.
· Secondary role is general site/facilities maintenance and emergency repairs to machines. Calibration of company equipment.
· Planned preventative maintenance of company equipment and facilities.
· Handling sales orders of new equipment, building orders & shipping.
· Installation of new machinery and equipment.
· Observation of and adherence to all safety procedures.

Qualifications/Candidate Profile:

· Recognised engineering qualification preferred.
· Some on-site fieldwork maybe be required.
· Professional Individual.
· Enthusiastic.
· Self-motivated.
