Quality Advisor

We are supporting our award-winning Aberdeen-based client with recruiting a Quality Advisor. This is an exciting time to join as our client is experiencing a period of growth.

Reporting to the Product Quality Lead, you would support the team on all Quality Assurance activities.

Key responsibilities:

Support enquiry review activities to ensure project quality requirements are met
Maintain the company Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure ISO standards are met
Provide support to QC Inspectors with inspection activities and identify improvements to inspection systems and processes
Monitor quality performance
Capturing information on non-conformances and quality issues
Implementing solutions to non-conformances and quality issues
Conduct risk-based audits to verify compliance to requirements as well as identifying and sharing audit outcomes
Support second or third-party audits

The ideal candidate for this role will be well versed in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment and capable of reading manufacturing drawings. You will be an experienced auditor, preferably with an ISO Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certificate and be a professional member of IOSH, CQI or equivalent. You will also have a strong understanding of root cause analysis tools and techniques and have the capability to lead root cause investigations and analysis. It would also be advantageous if you have had exposure to Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
