What will you be responsible for?

As a Social Value Manager you'll be part of the Social sustainability team delivering and implementing the local construction sustainability strategy for the Southern business and supporting the wider Sustainable World strategy.

Your role will include:

* Leading the Social Value Co-ordinators within the Southern business and allocating appropriate resource to local projects.

* To drive and communicate to the business Social Value drivers of construction frameworks, local authorities and private clients.

* Represent our client on relevant external and internal social value working groups

* Work collaboratively with the Business Development team to focus social value activity around key clients and target sectors for future work

* Support strategic regional work winning and contribute to national strategic work winning

* Drive supply chain social value engagement within the Southern business

* Develop and communicate appropriate Social Value strategy and project plans

What are we looking for?

This role of Social Value is great for you if have the:

* Ability to create and manage a cohesive and productive team

* Comfortable with presenting and communicating at all levels

* Understanding of social value measurement and knowledge of frameworks like the National TOMs and Government Social Value Model

* Strong knowledge and understanding of local community landscape including community organisations, education institutions, local authorities etc

* Ability to work as part of a team to deliver both locally and nationally – including knowledge sharing and networking to collect and promote good practice

* Knowledge of construction industry would be an advantage
