Sales Coordinator
Location: Cannock/Burntwood area
Salary: Competitive
Working hours: 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
A rapidly expanding technical service solutions business, specialising in industrial air systems is seeking a qualified candidate for an internal sales position. The company has over 65 years of trading history and successful organic growth, and holds a significant market share.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Working from a mixture of annual existing contract renewals and “warm” sales leads.
* Provide quotations as required for service packages and individual service tasks offered.
* Ensuring all quotations are logged onto the operating system daily.
* Producing and sending out quotes in a timely manner.
* Proactively chasing customer orders.
* Liaising with other departments to ensure our customer experience is positive.
* Liaise with external customers to ensure that quotations are received in accordance with agreed timescales.
* Contact clients by telephone and e-mail.
* Identify opportunities to process orders and close sales.
* Identify opportunities for referral to sales team.
* Assist in developing clients via proactive desk-based sales processes.
* Understand key clients development paths.
* Advise the Team Leader of new opportunities to grow revenue streams.
* Ensure records are maintained and monthly report produced showing progress against agreed criteria.
* Maintain an effective working relationship with the managers and staff of all sections throughout the company.
* Adhere to policies and procedures.
* To follow the company’s ISO procedures including filing or paperwork relating to all orders and quotations.
* To carry out other ad hoc duties as required.
