Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

As a Mechanical Engineer - Emergency Diesel Generator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of emergency power systems. You will support the Contract Engineering Lead (CEL) in managing technical aspects and ensuring contract compliance, with a focus on emergency diesel generators essential for nuclear safety. Key responsibilities include:

⚡️ Support the Client in contractual relationships with the supplier
⚡️ Review supplier documents and coordinate reviews for diesel generator projects
⚡️ Produce comment sheets and discuss with suppliers on technical issues
⚡️ Manage modifications, open points, and scope gaps on diesel generator contracts
⚡️ Support resolution of technical issues and non-conformities related to emergency power systems
⚡️ Write surveillance plans and reports for diesel generator projects
⚡️ Manage interfaces with all disciplines involved in the contract, including system, electrical, and I&C teams
⚡️ Liaise with RD and client management teams to ensure manufacturing dates are met

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

🛠 Degree in Mechanical Engineering
🛠 Design experience with emergency/backup diesel generators
🛠 Experience with mechanical or electrical equipment design and operation, including diesel engines
🛠 Knowledge of equipment interfaces
🛠 Experience using change management and commercial systems
🛠 Experience working in a multicultural environment
🛠 Proven experience in heavy industrial projects, demonstrating the ability to manage complex engineering tasks

Desired Skills:

✔️ Experience working in the nuclear sector would be advantageous, but not essential
✔️ Experience in managing transverse technical and contractual topics
