Maintenance Technician, Weston-Super-Mare

* £30,000 to £40,000 as a guide + pension + life assurance + 25 days holidays and all bank holidays.

Are you interested in working at the cutting edge of automotive manufacturing? Do you want to work in a clean, organised, and successful engineering business in a Maintenance Technician or Engineering Technician or workshop technician role.
This Maintenance Technician job will involve:
* Providing maintenance, breakdown & repair services for all aspects of the manufacturing operation and facility itself.
* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to production equipment, machinery, and tooling.
* Utilising strong diagnostic skills for breakdown and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment/machinery.
* Assisting in wider engineering duties such as supporting the build / organisation of production lines e.g. fabricating frames / fixtures / tooling to support manufacturing.
* Being proactive & intuitive, identifying and implementing more effective methods of working.
Your background as a Maintenance Technician:
* Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Engineering Technician, Workshop Technician, or similar role.
* Strong mechanical skills & basic machining and fabrication skills to address maintenance needs.
* You will hold a relevant qualification in an engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing discipline.
* Able to work to accredited industry quality standards and employ modern and efficient ways of working to implement business improvement initiatives.
This Maintenance Technician job is commutable from Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Cheddar, Clevedon, Nailsea, , Bridgwater, Wells, Bristol & surrounding areas.
