Role overview

This role requires a self-starter with the potential to take responsibility and manage the commercial success of multiple projects efficiently and to a high standard.

A level of experience within a fast-track workplace Design & Build environment is desirable to be able to make accurate 'on the spot' decisions. This person will want to have a passion for due diligence and process, be able to understand the design requirements of the project, commercial goals for both the client and company and have a good level of understanding on interior construction and contracts, typically in the form of JCT.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding the scope of works and the ability to alter specification for the project benefit
Preparation of budgets and cost plans at concept stage, based on initial design intent information
Programme management of pre-contract phase and detail design phase
Minuting internal & external project meetings with clients and clients professional team
Action tracking and risk management
Preparing, issuing and obtaining tenders from suppliers and subcontractors
Negotiation and preparation of sub-contractor/supplier terms and conditions
Preparation and maintenance of the contract documentation - usually JCT format
Cost control during the tendering and detailing stages with client's representatives
Preparing and communicating project account with client's representatives at all stages
Reporting project profit
Internal compliance system and process management
Liaising with and obtaining statutory approvals
