Class Act Teaching Services are currently working with a Primary School in Oxford who are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to start after the May half term. The position is working within the SEND provision of a mainstream Primary School in Oxford; they are looking for an SEND Teachig Assistant who can work full time at least until the summer with the potential for this to be extended into the new academic year. 

This Primary School has an ethos that is built around the children learning in a happy and safe environment. The school are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and have a two form-entry; they promote development not just academically but also socially and as a rounded individual too.

SEND Teaching Assistant Role:

Able to provide 1 - 2 - 1 support

Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school

Ability to support student and encourage their progression

Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively

SEND Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant

A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable

Previous SEND experience is essential
