Job description
CB Staffing Group are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our clients family run steel stockholder business in Longport, Stoke On Trent. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components to create various products.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of metal components
- Measure, cut, and shape metal pieces using power tools and hand tools
- Weld and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Fabricator or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is a plus
Hours of work Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00
Pay Rate £14-£15ph.
