Installation & Maintenance Engineer
Our client helps schools and businesses achieve peace of mind by providing fire and security systems throughout Yorkshire.
Due to increased workload, an opportunity for an engineer to join the team has arisen
The main purpose of this role will be to install & service, fire alarms, access control, CCTV systems and intruder alarms both in educational institutes and commercial/industrial scale.
Your main duties will include:
installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems such as Advanced, Hochiki, Apollo and Kentec to name a few
installing, maintaining, and repairing access control & intercom systems such as Paxton & Videx
installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic gates, we mostly work with Roger Technology & Came.
There could also be some work on CCTV & intruder alarm systems such as UNV.
You will be expected to attend both call outs & planned maintenance appointments and complete any paperwork required.
Experience within the fire and security industry is essential. A DBS check will be carried out as part of the role.
In return you will be a part of a tight knit team with full office support to back you up.
This role reports into the director who is always around to offer support and guidance.
