Job Title: Head of Compliance

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 depending on experience

We are partnering with a leading company based in Nottingham to recruit an experienced and dynamic Head of Compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional to lead and shape the compliance function, ensuring the company continues to meet and exceed regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Culture and Strategy:

Build and nurture a culture of compliance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Support and guide the Compliance and Audit Manager, providing expertise and leadership.
Collaborate with the MD and Operations Director to establish key objectives for the Compliance team.Compliance Monitoring:

Overhaul and take full responsibility for the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance measures and controls, ensuring continuous improvement.Risk Management:

Identify and evaluate potential risks to business objectives.
Implement measures to mitigate or eliminate risks, conducting thorough risk assessments and reporting findings appropriately.Policy and Procedure Management:

Ensure company policies and procedures are robust and in line with regulatory guidance.
Continuously review and update policies to maintain a strong compliance framework.Management Information (MI) and Reporting:

Provide comprehensive compliance MI with analytic analysis to senior management.
Prepare and present board reports to keep management informedSkills and experience:

10+ years of experience in compliance within the financial services sector.
In-depth knowledge of UK financial services regulations, particularly high-cost credit.
Proven experience managing a compliance monitoring plan and leading a compliance team.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to influence and build professional relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to manage risk and resolve compliance issues effectively.Benefits include:
