Commissioning Agent

FREELANCE DATA CENTRE ROLE - WEEKLY FLIGHTS AND 4* HOTEL ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED
This specialist Commissioning Consultancy are looking for a lead Commissioning Agent to join them on a Data Centre project in Milan.
THE COMPANY
- A specialist Commissioning Management Consultancy who specialises in major mission critical projects throughout the UK and Europe.
- They also work on a range of projects including data centres, commercial, offices, healthcare and high-end residential
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMISSONING AGENT
- The Commissioning Agent will be part of the client team, liaising on the status of the Commissioning process.
- The Commissioning Agent will prepare documentation on various aspects of the Commissioning process for delivery to the client.
- The Commissioning Agent will communicate regularly with both the on-site Commissioning team and the client, ensuring delays and issues are dealt with to a satisfactory resolution.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND OF THE COMMISSIONING AGENT
- Ideally degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- High level of technical competence in HV distribution, LV distribution, Stand-by power, UPS systems.
- Previous Commissioning Management experience in a Data Centre environment
- Preferably previous experience as a Commissioning Agent. If not, the ideal candidate will need proven strong client communication skills and effective liasion skills from a previous role.
