ServiceNow Solution Architect - WD
What you will do
Supporting Johnson Controls' global ServiceNow platform, you will be responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping business requirements from the project team to technical requirements. You will also be responsible for the quality and timeline of the integration work in projects.
How you will do it
Drive and influence the delivery of solutions across our entire ServiceNow platform incorporating multiple locations with a specific focus on our existing businesses.
Responsible for the plan and execution in conjunction with the Program team and driving cost efficiency in this solution delivery.
Execute ServiceNow programs in conjunction with Partner Organizations for Solution Delivery.
Drive the focus of the ServiceNow platform in collaboration with IT business partnership teams by reviewing feasibility of future enhancements.
Drive engagement with Operations Run Leaders to monitor daily incidents across the ServiceNow platforms.
Communicate with the Senior IT leadership team to keep them apprised of project activities and to seek their consultation as necessary.
Provide technical and industry-specific subject matter expertise to support requirements gathering, solution design, and technical oversight.
Provide administrative and technical direction to external resources.
Review and approve all deliverable work products prior to delivery.
Time tracking and reporting for internal and external resources.
Influence senior business leaders on business process improvement and quality.
Collaborate with ePMO Program Managers and Global Infrastructure Architects.
Maintain up-to-date ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and use of available training, blogs and forums.
What we look for
Required
Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow experience along with experience with other IT service management platforms/technologies (e.g. Remedy, Cherwell, LANDesk, etc.)
Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow (minimum three implementations)
3+ years of experience leading projects in an onsite/offshore model
Experience working with customers to gather requirements and defining the solutions for small and large projects
Ability to communicate effectively to technical as well as business audiences
Exceptional collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels with internal and external parties in addition to Johnson Controls' key values: integrity, teamwork, excellence, and accountability.
Preferred
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
Experience in migrating from on-premise applications to cloud applications
Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities
