Supported by a parent company focused on technical and digital innovation, now is a great time to join them as a Software Developer (C# full stack, Azure) and help contribute as part of a squad to the further development of their key platforms and development of new ones.

This is mainly a remote role with the need for team meet-ups occasionally at the office in Cheshire.  Meet-ups could be once or twice a month, or maybe less frequent depending on projects.

Working both independently and collaboratively as needed to ensure good quality software is delivered in line with committed timescales.  As part of collaborative working, this role offers the opportunity to coach and mentor less experienced members of the team just embarking on their software development journey.

This is a full stack role comprising C#, .Net and front end development using React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.  API development, agile software development practices and CI / CD and Azure cloud.

Some of the things you will be involved in include –

Produce efficient and high-quality code that aligns with industry standards.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system functionality.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define and implement effective solutions in alignment with business requirements.
Contribute to Sprint Planning processes by estimating work efforts accurately.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development practices and overall quality.
Provide guidance to team members through peer reviews, pair programming, and constructive feedback.
Create sufficient documentation to support the understanding and maintenance of developed software.
Support the release of new code to production environments.

Salary is to £60,000 basic plus benefits.
