Software Developer

Pragmatica Innovations is seeking a motivated and experienced Software Developer to join our team.
This position is a hybrid role with work-at-home authorized and some work on-site at Fort Eustis, Hampton VA.
EXPECTATIONS OF ROLE:
The Software Developer will develop and enhance all System of System (SoS) capabilities using COTS and GOTS applications and hardware, as applicable. SoS development includes the architecture catalog, data warehouse/repository, embedded training/user help functions, work collaboration areas, software applications, license management, role management, single sign-on, ETL capabilities, and federation capabilities. Maintenance is defined as bug fixes, patches, software updates, installation of software, and application/content updates/changes to tools without changes to the underlying system architecture. Maintenance includes code changes, such as new functionality and capabilities. Provide support in technical discussions, troubleshooting problem areas, and carrying out corrective actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop software, provide test reports, and demonstrate successful enhancement and maintenance modifications of developed software.
* Participate in Agile Scrum environment with other developers
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
* Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
* Applicant must have an active CompTIA Security+ certification.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
* Three plus years experience working with development and maintenance of software applications employing Microsoft technologies, such as , Office, SQL Server, and Windows Server.
* 1-2 years of AGILE development to writing and completing epics, stories, acceptance testing criteria. Experience running automated builds for continuous integration (bamboo, jenkins, azure devops, gitlab, etc) is desired but not required
* 1-2 years with git and github/azure devops/gitlab or similar to include branching, pull requests, pulling, pushing, merging, reading logs, etc. Experience using git UIs such as TortiseGit, SourceTree, etc is desired but not required
* 1-3 years javascript development to include web service access and display of data using frameworks such as jquery, devextreme, react, and redux (not all required)
* 1-3 years c# web development including Model View Controller, Entity Framework 5+,asp.net4+, webapi2, Visual Studio 2013+ and/or Visual Code
* Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology.
DESIRED SKILLS:
* Experience with multiple Azure technologies.
* Experience withcloud-based data storageand data backup
* Experience in an Agile/DevOps/DevSecOps environment
* Knowledge of baseline management and operations inside a cloud environment
* Azure Certification (such as DevOps Engineer)
