Introduction: Backend Engineer
Our client, a leading player in the Banking and Investment sector, is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join their team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's software infrastructure, ensuring the smooth running of their financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, efficient, and secure software solutions using C# and .NET
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements
Writing clean and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards
Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs
Optimizing and enhancing existing systems to improve performance and scalability
Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
Participating in system architecture design and planning
Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them
Solid understanding of database design and SQL
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Working knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
