Chemical Recycling is a fast growing environment and our client is fully committed to become a solution provider for chemical recycling of plastic waste and to process over 1 million tons of waste plastics, chemicals and fuels by 2030. Maintaining close working relationships with recycling companies is an essential part of our client’s strategy to ensure they build a solution which aligns with the needs and economics of the upstream supply chain.
As a Manager, Feedstocks and Production Platform you will lead collaborations with selected recycling partners to ensure first, that the company builds a business solution which serves the interest of both parties, second, that the company has access to sufficient volume of suitable recycled plastic material and, third, that they build up plastics liquefaction capacity fast and bold. In addition, you will be engaged in developing the strategy for feedstock supply and liquefaction capacity development across the business.
Key responsibilities:
· Manage collaboration and co-development with selected strategic recycling partners and company relationship with those partners
· Ensure internal support, resourcing and contract framework for external collaboration and secure the delivery of company part in the collaboration
· Develop joint business concept and business case for deploying plastics liquefaction within the partners site network
· Lead the planning of first liquefaction units together with the partners
· Participate in defining feedstock supply and liquefaction capacity development strategy for Chemical Recycling
You will work closely with the Chemical Recycling business team, company Strategy Managers, and Engineering Solutions to build collaboration and ensure fit to company´s business targets. The keys to success in the position:
· At least Master’s degree from a relevant field, e.g. Engineering, Technology or Business Development and Partnerships
· Good knowhow in developing novel industrial assets from concept phase to final investment decision
· Advanced project management skills
· Strategic mind-set, ability to understand the big picture
· Fluent written and spoken command of English
· Willingness to travel
