HR & General Affairs Assistant

For our client in Amsterdam, an international company specializing in electrical and electronic components, we are currently looking for HR & General Affairs Assistant to join their European team in Nuremberg, Germany or Amsterdam, the Netherlands.Main responsibilities:
  • Assist with day- to-day HR & General Affairs operations
  • Assist the Japanese expatriates with the relocation and integration matters in Germany ( visa, registration with local municipality, housing arrangements, bank accounts among others)
  • Deal with employee requests regarding general affairs matters in Germany company cars, insurances, among others
  • Maintanining and renewing office related contracts
  • Office supplies control and purchase
  • Contact suppliers on all matters coming up
  • Answer to or explain incoming documents in German language to finance HQ based in Amsterdam
  • Follow up on all documents which need a decision or input from Amsterdam HQ
  • Office duties such as booking flights, trains and hotels for guests and staff when applicable
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time
Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Experience in GA Administration
  • HR Administration is plus
  • German native speaker
  • Fluency English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Pro-active and hands-on attitude
  • Be very approachable
  • Flexibility
  • Service-mindedness
  • Proficient in MS Office
