Job offer 11/24 The Leibniz Institute DSMZ-German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures GmbH, Braunschweig offers the position for a Full-stack software developer with focus on front-end (m/f/d) The position has a salary level up to TV-L 13 according to the qualification and is initially limited to 2 years with the perspective to become a permanent position. The position is offered as full time (39.8 hours per week). SILVA is a well-established and renowned database provides comprehensive quality checked ribosomal RNA reference sequence data and accompanying web services and tools. The datasets are used by thousands of scientists worldwide as a basis for their research. As a part of the SILVA team, your task will be implementing the redesign of the web front-end and the integration into the new research infrastructure DSMZ Digital Diversity (hub.dsmz.de). You will be responsible for migrating, developing, and maintaining the SILVA websites and web applications. This position will primarily focus on front-end work, with occasional backend tasks. The tasks will be completed in close coordination with developers on the SILVA team, as well as developers from other teams at the DSMZ.
