Title: MEP Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Permanent Hire
Salary: 160k - 180k
We are seeking a Manager of Mechanical Design to help provide technical and project leadership to our Mechanical group.
In this role you will:
Guide, mentor and provide technical leadership to the team.
Manage projects from inception to completion
Establish scope, work plan and work schedule and ensure this is communicated to the project staff and other department managers.
Manage staff utilization to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Provide QA/QC review for design calculations and drawings
Serve as technical advisor for staff
Develop and mentor junior staff
Cultivate client relationships
Help with proposal development
Other duties, as assigned
We are looking for someone who has:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Illinois P.E. License
15 plus years of related technical experience
5 plus years as a people manager
Relationship building skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong mechanical code knowledge including ASHRAE standards
AutoCAD, Revit, CostWorks, and other related software knowledge
