My client is a leading hospitality and catering company and they are looking to continue the expansion of their kitchen team and are keen to speak to a talented Junior Pastry Sous Chef with a passion for creativity and excellent attention to detail.

As a Junior Pastry Sous Chef, you will be an integral part of my clients team, sharing your expertise and creativity to deliver exceptional experiences to their guests.

Junior Pastry Chef Responsibilities:

Assist the Pastry Chef in creating and implementing innovative pastry menus and bakery items
Support the overall pastry kitchen and bakery team by ensuring a high level of food quality and presentation standards
Maintain inventory levels of pastry ingredients and ensure that all supplies are ordered in a timely manner
Be compliant with current food hygiene and safety regulations
Participate in the development of new pastry and bakery recipes, including gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free optionsKey requirements;

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
Passion for pastry and a dedication to precision and detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in creating and baking bakery items
Knowledge of gluten-free and sugar-free pastry options is essential
