CNC Offline Programmer

This business have just won a number of exciting new contracts, meaning they are going to be machining critical parts for MOD, F1, Automotive and Medical businesses across the globe. Due to the increased workload, they have had to purchase multiple new 5 axis machines and that's why they are needing to add to the programming team!

The Role;

You will be working within a team of programmers, creating complex 5 axis programs for state-of-the-art milling machines. With the business winning new work, there will be lots of new programs required to be made from scratch so this keep you on your toes. You will be using some of the latest CAM software and help out on the shopfloor when needed to prove out the programs and assist the machinists.

There may be times when you need to offer your expertise to some more junior members of the team, so there is opportunity for this to include mentorship duties as well!

What we need from you;

Ideally 5+ years CAM programming experience
Have worked on specialist CAM software such as: Siemens NX, Hypermill, CATIA, Fusion 360, Delcam, MasterCAM, SolidCAM, EdgeCAM, AlphaCAM, GIbbsCAM
Have extensive CNC machining knowledge so you know the best practices when it comes to machining certain jobs!
