Fawkes & Reece are aiding a respected Civil engineering organisation in their search for a capable Senior Quantity surveyor to be apart of the transport solutions commercial team .
You'll contribute your skills to a significant Highways project in Norfolk, shaping the future of infrastructure.
This role is ideal for an existing Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced professional with a background in highways, heavy civils, or road schemes.
About the role...
In this role, you'll handle subcontract procurement, meticulous cost planning and control, financial progress reporting, and client relationship management.
Collaboration is essential, and you'll work closely with a team of motivated professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional Highways projects.
As a Senior QS, you'll also have the opportunity to manage and mentor an Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor.
As the ideal candidate, you possess excellent relationship-building skills, an analytical mindset, impeccable organisational abilities, and a creative problem-solving aptitude. Your resilience and leadership qualities make you a role model for others.
You will also have:
Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, working on projects in the range of £5-10 million
A strong commercial background, ideally in a Highways environment
Managed or mentored team members
Good knowledge of NEC contracts and the ability to handle multiple projects
Previous exposure to COINS software is an advantage
