Are you passionate about maintaining the highest quality standards? We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Compliance Technologist for our client. This role is essential in ensuring the highest quality for our products, from ingredients to finished goods and packaging.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Quality Management System
Update and maintain the QMS to ensure policies, procedures, and work instructions meet current BRC standards.
Develop new procedures and documents, collaborating with the factory team for accuracy and effectiveness.
Manage and communicate updates to QMS documents promptly.
Participate in HACCP reviews and process validation, documenting results.
Investigate complaints, generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and update monthly KPI and complaints reports. Supplier Information
Ensure complete due diligence for all suppliers, including food safety certificates and compliance information.
Verify certificates for incoming ingredients and conduct ingredient testing as per risk assessments.
Perform supplier audits as needed. Specifications
Update and create Finished Product Specifications.
Maintain internal specifications for packaging and ingredients.
Review ingredient specifications and maintain databases for nutritional information.
Provide and verify legal information for packaging artwork. Testing and Training
Coordinate external testing, log results, and highlight significant findings.
Follow up on out-of-specification results and agree on action plans.
Conduct technical tests and validation testing as required.
Perform trend analysis on testing results. Internal Audit
Ensure internal audit schedules are met and actions completed.
Participate in internal audits against the BRC standard.
Assist during external audits (e.g., BRCGS, Soil Association). Qualifications and Skills:
Strong knowledge of QMS and BRC standards.
Experience in supplier management, internal auditing, and handling complaints.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
