We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our client's successful and friendly team. This is a permanent full-time position.

Job Title: Inventory Control Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE per annum

Location: King’s Lynn
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory within the warehouse and satellite locations. The role involves leading a team of Inventory Controllers and overseeing the Goods In department to ensure accurate inventory tracking, efficient stock management, and timely replenishment.

* Develop and implement inventory management procedures to ensure accurate stock tracking, efficient stock rotation, and timely replenishment.

* Lead and manage a team of Inventory Controllers and Goods In department staff, providing guidance and training.

* Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for optimization, including reducing excess stock, minimizing stockouts, and improving inventory accuracy.

* Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.

* Analyse inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have proven warehouse experience, strong people management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory control. The successful candidate will support the Warehouse Management and Team Leaders in the daily administrative activities of a busy and professional warehouse and distribution facility.

* Proven experience in warehouse operations, with a demonstrable record in inventory management roles.

* Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively

* Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.

* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software and their implementation is desirable.

* Knowledge of SAP Business One would be advantageous.

* IOSH would be desirable

* Must have a driving a license and FLT Counter-Balance license
