Finance Analyst

This newly created post for a Finance Analyst has been created to support the company's long-term growth strategy.

You'll report directly to the Finance Director, and you'll work alongside and closely with the Finance Manager who has been with the business for two decades. She's not the only one, many employees have recently received long service awards, ranging from 5 years to 37 years. You will certainly be offered a long-term career and stability with this company which has continued to grow Nationwide consistently since 2019.

You will confidently provide them with the data, information, and analysis they need to make decisions. You'll need strong analytical skills and good attention to detail, along with the ability and experience of creating a set of management accounts and reports on the Profit and loss for the business units.

You'll assist with the management of budgets and forecasts for key areas of the business - working alongside commercial, operations and non-financial colleagues, happy to advise on things like material waste, labour efficiency and transport. You are not afraid to be challenged!

You'll have a good understanding of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills. You must have an outgoing personality and be prepared to work closely with others outside the immediate finance team. If you are a shy wall flower this is not the role for you!

Ideally you are part qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
