Control Systems Engineer

Our client is a global engineering business with a site based in Newcastle. They are currently looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
This role will offer an experienced Control Systems Engineer the opportunity to work with a global player in the Oil & Gas, Marine and Defence sectors. With a business plan to grow within the Renewables sector, you will have the opportunity to work on large global projects across a range of clients creating an exciting and varied role.

About the Control Systems Engineer Role
Reporting to a Senior Engineer, the Control System Engineer is responsible for producing the Control System Engineering deliverables for a work pack/sub-system or project.
Other responsibilities for the Control System Engineer will include:

Producing technical solutions to complex engineering problems (may involve project or sales work), this can include concept design, detailed design, calculations, analysis, and technical reports/documentation.
*
As Control System Engineer, you will take ownership of the tasks assigned through to successful delivery within the specified time, budget to the specification and required quality standards.
*
Take direction from Lead/Senior Engineer and Product Technical Lead where required.
*
Ensure that design practices/guidelines/company processes are followed.
About you
The successful Control System Engineer will be able to demonstrate:
*
Engineering Design and Development experience demonstrated over 2-5 years.
*
As a minimum, educated to an Engineering Degree level.
*
Member or working towards a recognised Engineering body. E.g., IMechE or IET.
*
Previous experience as a Control System Engineer.
