Hourly salary of £18 per hour
Working hours of Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

THE ROLE

Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
You must have previous experience working as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques with both heavy and minor crash repair.
Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
Replacement of panels.
Panel Repairs (Straightening and filling)
Body Alignment
Welding ARC, MIG, TIG and bonding
Panel Beating (Major or Minor damage repair)
Jig Work
Filler Work
Pin pulling
Removing any dents in panels.
Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.

THE PERSON

You will have prior experience working in an automotive repair environment and will be a highly skilled technician who is consistent in producing high quality results.
Examine vehicles to identify additional work for repair and complete in a timely manner
Ability to identify different colour variants and match colours without assistance
Able to work in a dynamic environment with compliance to Health & Safety at all times
Valid UK driving license is essential
Previous experience is essential
Experience using modern water-based paints
Ability to work efficiently, with high numbers of vehicles coming into the Bodyshop
Must have own tools
