Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with chemical manufacturing company to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join their Rotherham facility.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Shift pattern – 07:45 - 15:45, early friday finish

The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will be fitting, installing and maintaining equipment on site. 

Our client is looking for a time-served maintenance fitter with experience working in a an industrial environment and is process driven.

Other duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include:

Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
Fitting gearboxes, gears, pipes, pumps, motors 
Installing pipework 
Adhering to permits when carrying out jobs 
Prioritising health and safety on all aspects of the role
Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment
To be successful in the role the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will need to have the following skills and experience:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
Pipe fitting experience is ideal 
Mechanical fitting experience 
Health and safety conscious
Process driven
