Working with a small team, as Senior Design Engineer you will be proactive in managing the design team to deliver client projects within set timescales and budget while meeting all relevant legislation and standards
With strong experience in civil engineering you will lead design development meetings, providing mentoring ad guidance to the team.
You will have a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other related subject and will be a member of a relevant institution (ICE, IStructE, PWI, IOSH, IEMA etc). With this professional qualification you will be either at chartered or incorporated engineer status.
You will sit with the management team and will be a key player in steering the business moving forward.
Rail industry experience is essential for this role.
Ful driving licence is essential as you will be required to attend site meetings throughout the UK (occasional overnight stays when required). You would also need to undertake training to hold a PTS card, which would be supported by the client.
