We are currently looking for an experienced Stores Person to be based in Oldham on a full-time, temporary basis, for a well-established manufacturing company.
Due to the nature of the working environment, 2 years previous experience in a similar capacity.
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, and Friday 7am to 12pm. 39 hours per week!
£11.44 per hour - Paid Weekly
Main Duties & Responsibilities of a stores person will include:
Picking, packing and despatch of finished goods
Raising despatch and sub-contract documentation
Book daily despatch transport
Control of stock movements
Use of Warehouse Management Systems
Use of FLT Counterbalance trucks
Assist in stock takes
Maintaining a good working environment and safe working conditions through good housekeeping standards
Ensuring appropriate personal protective equipment is worn
Ad-hoc duties requested by Stores ManagerSkills and Experience required:
FLT Counterbalance licence – Essential
Computer literate
Experience of previous position 2+ years
Experience of Warehouse Management Systems
Ability to pick/pack and despatch of heavy itemsThe company offers a great working environment with nice facilities, as well as plenty of free parking available on site.
