Location: Preston

Type: Full Time - Office Base Night Shift

Salary: £23,308

Shift: 2 pm - 10.30pm

Client Profile: Gurler Mae is proud to announce, that we are searching for a Customer Service Rep - Portuguese-speaking on behalf of our client.

This opportunity is offered on a full-time and permanent basis.

This is a Night Shift role working in the Office in the Preston area.

As a Customer Service Rep- Portuguese-Speaking, the role involves contacting customers to create a promise to pay date for their invoices. New invoices can be sent and changes in details discussed at this point if necessary. Once the payment date is agreed it will be stored on the system and automatically flag up if the payment is overdue.

Primary Duties:

● Experience working in a Credit / Collections environment

● Excellent verbal and written communication

● Fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal & written)

● Confident in telephone and email interactions with customers

● Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

● Sound judgment and decision making

● Analytical and problem-solving

● Attention to detail

● Ability to multi-task and set priorities

● Motivated to exceed performance measures

● Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

● Actively participate in team-building activities

Personal Specification:

● Fluent in Portuguese and English

● Be an excellent communicator with an enthusiastic attitude.

● Positive, with a motivated attitude toward customer service and the willingness to learn how to provide outstanding service.

● Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manners.

● Confident, positive, proactive, and dynamic.

● Able to work as part of a team as well as to take own initiative.

● Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

● Attention to detail, curious thinker, and good listener.

● Previous experience with telephones is a great advantage.

● A candidate who can demonstrate assertiveness and possess the ability to get the customer to understand that the payment needs to be made would be ideal

● Good manners

● Some analysis – working out payment dates, and different time zones (e.g. only calling people in the East earlier in the day as they are ahead of the UK)
