£25,000 + uncapped commission

We employ a highly skilled team with many of our consultants having over five years’ experience in the business.  We have a great history of hiring Trainee Recruitment Consultant’s into the business and developing them through to become future superstars! Several of our senior management team joined the business as trainees with no recruitment experience.

We have a vibrant and dynamic sales office with lots of competition, performance incentives and a very supportive team who will all want to help you develop in the role to make you successful!

The Role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will initially be shown all the core values and principles we work to as well as all the techniques and methods you need to become an expert recruitment consultant.

You will initially learn your sector by interviewing and speaking to candidates in the marketplace to help you understand the sector and gain market knowledge, supported by an extremely successful Managing Consultant. You will also work closely with your Divisional Manager, an experienced Consultant who has been with Ganymede for ten years, who will train you on sales, client relationship management and new business development in consistent training and coaching sessions to help you develop your knowledge and skill as quickly as possible to make you successful in the role.

The key parts to the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role will be:

Writing adverts for vacancies we are looking to fill.
Screening CVs to identify if they fit the criteria for roles.
Identifying and interviewing engineers to build your knowledge of the sector.
Matching these candidates to vacancies we are filling for customers.
Supporting candidates through interview process with our customers including interview briefing, feedback and offer management
Once you have a good grasp of your market sector, we will then move you onto the full 360 role, which will then also involve:

Business Development – Following up on leads and marketing campaigns to identify new customers.
Customer visits to explain how we can add value to their recruitment process
De-Briefing with customers on their vacancies and qualifying the requirements they have.
