Do you have experience in using power tools in a production setting?
We are currently looking to recruit Operatives to work with our Manufacturing client who is based on the outskirts of Ashford, on a full-time temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that is one of the leaders within their market and offers an excellent package for its staff.
You will be working Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5.45pm & Friday, 8am - 4.15pm (This may be flexible) for an hourly rate of £11.93.
Due to the remote location, own transport will be required.
Duties and responsibilities for the role of Assembly Operative
* Work with Chop saws, Pull saws and push saws
* Reading measurements
* Use different hand tools including tape measures, drills, nail guns and screwdrivers
* Resize and sand materials for re-use
* You will be able to follow directions well and demonstrate a good eye for detail
Skills required for the role of Assembly Operative
* Must be able to work in a continuous environment
* Must be able to lift heavy items including bending
* Must have used power tools previously
* Must be comfortable wearing PPE including dusk masks
* Must be able to work in a physical role
