Support Engineering Manager | Service manager | Support manager - FTC/Contract - 85K

Have you got a passion for mobile apps that can change the world of online platforms? I have partnered with ane extremely exciting business who have achieved millions of funding to produce market lead SaaS applications for some of the best known brands in the UK.

I am looking for an experienced support engineering manager, service manager or support manager on a fixed 6 month interim/contractor assignment or fixed term contract to support through an extremely busy period within the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for all live apps and lead the support team to improve SLA's, customer experience, maintenance and drive excellence within the support function. This is not only a visible role, but a critical role in achieving a long term impact within the organisation.

As the support engineering manager, service manager or support manager, you will need to provide excellent communication to all stakeholders in the business, whilst also taking ownership of the support team, maintaining excellence and provide a 'safe pair of hands' within software support, data analytics and a range of configuration tools.
Key Skills:

  • Experienced in service deliver and IT management from a client support side
  • Ability to lead an agile team to provide excellence
  • Support senior stakeholders with strategy, process design and help to identify gaps
  • Provide an escalation point where required around application support
  • Deliver consistant cross-functional delivery
  • Have experience working with Service Desk tooling
  • Experience improving SLA's
  • Provide excellent support both to internal and external partners
  • Improve standards of best practice
  • Excellent commnication skills

This is a 6 month engagement, which can be worked out at around £85K pro rata, or potentially placed as a day rate for the right candidate.
