THE ROLE:
They are seeking a highly organised and motivated Events and Marketing Executive to join our Engineering Knowledge team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and promotional aspects of a diverse portfolio of partner events, including lectures, seminars, conferences, dinners, and AGMs. You will ensure the smooth running of these events while promoting them effectively through various channels.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the logistics and promotion of 40+ partner events per year, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and within budget.
Liaise with knowledge partners to understand their needs and effectively promote their events
Create and manage online registrations, ensuring a user-friendly experience for delegates.
Develop marketing materials for events, including emails, website content, and social media posts.
Manage delegate queries and ensure a high standard of customer service.
Train and coach new staff members and deputise for the Knowledge Operations Manager as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Significant experience in event administration and a proven track record of delivering events on time and within budget.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with event management platforms and marketing tools (e.g., Dotdigital, Umbraco).
Significant experience in communication, administration and committee processes.
Experience in project management is desirable.
Previous experience within a similar professional institution, the voluntary sector, or a membership body is a plus.
