Tate Recruitment is working in partnership with a luxury brand currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merch Planning Operations Assistant to support a team in delivering efficient merchandise processes and strategies.

Role Overview:

The Merch Planning Operations Assistant role operates within the Global Merchandise Planning Operations team, supporting the team in core responsibilities across planning and reporting. This role will leverage data available centrally as well as coordinate with the regional and divisional partners to drive analysis which supports key business objectives and decisions. Your contributions will ensure the smooth execution of merchandise plans and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of seasonal merchandise plans.
Support inventory management processes, including stock monitoring and allocation.
Prepare and distribute regular reports and analysis to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of digital tools and technologies.
Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to provide insights.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning department.
Coordinate with regional and divisional partners to gather data and driveQualifications:

Previous experience in a planning or operations role within the fashion industry is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualified at degree level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with planning software is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with SAP / Business Warehouse / Business Objects would be advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
