Technical Business Development Manager

Location: Central London, Hybrid working

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for spearheading new business sales opportunities, fostering profitable revenue growth from fresh strategic business in alignment with the sales strategy and customer segmentation. You will oversee all newly acquired accounts as well as some existing transactional accounts. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact and join a growing team where every perspective is valued.

Responsibilities:

Propel the sales expansion of IaaS solutions, concentrating on cultivating new business avenues
Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve objectives while nurturing client partnerships
Discern customer requirements, tailor value propositions, and finalize agreements
Uphold excellence throughout the sales journey, fostering enduring strategic alliances
Actively generate and conclude new business through networking and lead generation
Take charge of the complete sales cycle from identification to closure
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teamsRequirements:

Proven direct IT sales experience
Demonstrated knack for spotting and pursuing fresh business opportunities
Proficiency in forging strategic alliances and conducting market research
Strong communication skills and understanding of the English language
Track record of brokering intricate deals
Familiarity with various infrastructure as below;
Understanding of Operating Systems - Windows/Linux
Virtualization - VMware/CloudStack
Network Technology - Cisco/Juniper routing, switching, VPN, load balancing, firewalling
Server Technologies - HP, IBM, Dell
Demonstrated interest in staying abreast of industry trends and competitive landscapes through continuous market research
