Our client operates as an electricity producer, developing a wide variety of renewable energy sources across wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and storage. Additionally, they offer services to third-party clients, including Development, EPC and O&M, and Distribution companies.
The role sits within the UK development which operates across England, Scotland and Wales. They have a growing pipeline of projects under development, and you will be responsible for managing projects at various stages of development driving a successful planning determination.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the entry of all the entries of these different companies
Establish monthly, quarterly and annual closings for the scope covered, including tax returns and annual accounts.
Participate in the group's accounting closing: Establish the income statement and balance sheet in the consolidation software (HFM), process IFRS homogenization entries
Updating Reconciliation Files
Monthly preparation of customer invoices and follow-up of accounting processing
Follow-up on requests for assistance from the accounting team in relation to OLA and tool improvements/fixes
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of accounting and taxation
Minimum 3+ years in Accounting
Experience and knowledge of an ERP system are essential skills (SAP, IFS, Oracle, etc.
As a partner, the accountant collaborates and works in partnership with representatives of other entities
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, good interpersonal skills and is able to adapt to changing environments,
Work methodology and rigour, ability to report.
