Banner Lane have been retained by a specialist high-tech electronics company to recruit a Systems Architect.
The company specialises in bespoke Radio Frequency (RF) systems and products for a variety of commercial and military applications. As a Systems Architect you will work with government and military customers to design and manufacture fully customisable RF Systems for Signals Intelligence and Communications Intelligence purposes. The product portfolio also extends to IED and ECM defeat systems.
The small-medium sized company is in a strong market position with a solid order-book and strong financial backing from a large multinational parent company.
As a Systems Architect reporting directly into the Technical Director you will be working closely with customers at an early stage; engaging with product management on new roadmap ideas, responding to invitations to tender as well as drive the capture and maturation of the company’s product lines. You will be decomposing the system and subsystem requirements and guiding the technical activities of solution design with RF, software and hardware engineering teams.
This is a highly inventive and entrepreneurial business so a broad experience across engineering disciplines and a creative and customer-focused mindset is required.
Desired experience:
* Developing new product concepts from inception to manufacture
* System knowledge of cuttingedge radio architectures
* Awareness of RF engineering
* Full stack software experience within hardware solutions
* Background in designing telecommunication networks
* Current SC/DV clearance
