The Package
* On-call Rota - 1 in 4 (rarely called out of hours due to the nature of standby power & generators not running)
* Standby allowance - £140 per/week, then additional hours paid at the appropriate rate of pay/overtime rate.
* Hours - 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 16:30pm.
* Overtime - 1.5x during the week, 1.5x Saturdays, 2x Sundays & bank holidays.
* Holiday Allowance - 25 days + 8 bank holidays.
* Company Van - optional personal usage.
* Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
The Company & Role
The business you'll be working for is well-established and growing provider of critical power solutions. Providing a full scope of services from project installation and commissioning to service, repair, and remedial work.
You will be responsible for servicing customers own diesel generators ranging from 30kva - 1800kva.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
* Take part in the on-call rota.
* Fault finding diesel engine fuel systems and ancillary equipment.
* Load bank testing equipment.
* Fault finding of 12/24volt and 240/415volt electrical systems.
* Completing service inspections and identifying potential defects that could result in equipment failure.
Essential
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to obtain security clearances I.E. Police & MOD
