Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

The Company:
ER Recruitment are proud to be working with a forward-thinking, industry leading organisation who are continuing to thrive. They are now recruiting for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to work closely with the CFO and manage three direct reports to provide insight and support financial operating and decision making across the brand.
Role & Responsibilities of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis:
* Support the CFO in communicating financial strategy issues and recommended changes to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board.
* Support and contribute to the production of the five-year business plan and financial strategy.
* Produce regular and timely financial reporting to give an overview of business and financial performance. Highlight trends, key actions, and strategic implications.
* Develop financial KPIs to assess the success of the business and financial strategy. Track this performance and produce regular corporate level management information.
* Analyse competitor and market information to provide insight to assist with decision making.
* Ensure that all routine management information is produced in a timely manner, contains reliable information which has been agreed by key stakeholders.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Develop, implement, and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability.
* Project manage end-to-end delivery of financial budget and forecasting processes, including communications, timetables, and data requirements.
* Creation of quarterly financial forecasts.
* Use the output of financial models and analysis of trends to drive decision making.
* Ensure the integrity of financial models and projections through implementation of suitable controls, documentation and testing.
* Business owner for the ERP system, ensuring fit for purpose, report at source ERP system.
* Lead scenario modelling to assess risks and aid decision making.
* Aid risk management and decision making through scenario analysis and stress testing.
* Lead the FP&A team, including staff recruitment, development, retention, performance management and task management.
* Proactively contribute to plans and priorities for wider team.
* Interact with (and when necessary be a member of) the Executive Leadership Team.
* Assist the CFO in respect of reports and presentations to the Board.
* Drive the company’s procurement and supplier relationship strategies and processes, ensuring compliance across the business and delivery of the agreed targets and savings.
About You as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis:
* Professional Accountancy Qualification.
* Experience working at Executive Level producing reports that are Board-level quality.
* Managed at least 3 direct reports.
* Strong Commercial awareness.
* Background in building effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Outstanding Financial Systems experience with emphasis on process improvements.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
