Product Compliance - UKCA Marking Specialist

We are looking for a Product Compliance – UKCA Marking Specialist to be responsible for the legal tracking, vigilance, interpretation, query investigation, and conclusion on necessary actions regarding the post-Brexit legislation affecting Avantor/VWR’s products.

In this role, you will provide professional support on expert subjects to internal stakeholders to allow a rapid reaction on customer requests and arising obstacles including market surveillance activities.

Full-time permanent, Monday-Friday (working from home).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

* Identify and follow up on UK legislation, addressing product safety and market needs affecting products by utilizing tracking tools and network

* Establish and maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure product Regulatory Compliance with applicable post-Brexit legislation and regulatory systems in the UK

* Review new and existing MHRA regulatory guidance documents, and assess the impact on our business

* Review labelling/marketing material for to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

* Research the scope of information and documentation necessary to file required registration applications and post-approval changes to UK regulatory agencies

* Build, maintain and follow up contacts with the necessary competent Authorities

* Support master data team and liaise with the supplier to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained properly.

* Provide regulatory support to the sales, marketing, procurement, and relevant management teams

* Work with our regulatory affairs teams to handle any non-compliance concerns and resolve them accordingly

* A degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Bio-engineering or related science

* Experience with regulatory affairs in product compliance and CE Marking

* Direct, demonstrable experience in communicating with Regulatory Authorities, manufacturers, and suppliers

* Experience providing solutions based on independent knowledge and research

* Able to analyse and interpret regulatory requirements and define necessary solution driven actions
